By Mareb Al-ward

Al Tadamun team

Tadamun Hadramawt team is seen as the black horse in the First Division Football League Championship for the 2024/2023 season after qualifying for the semi-finals in an unprecedented achievement for the club.

In the group stage that ended last December, the team nicknamed "Blue" won 18 points and reserved the second seat in Group I behind leader Ahli Sana 'a.

This result gave the team qualification for the Golden Square to face Group B champions Wehda Sana 'a on January 28 in the city of Mukalla.

The rematch will take place early in February in the capital, Sana 'a.

Receivable Achievement

Tadamun is worth qualifying thanks to strong performance, offensive play and competing for qualification against stronger clubs such as Helal Hodeidah Teams and Ettihad IBB.

The figures confirm this entitlement; Tadamun won five games, drew three, lost only two and scored 14 goals thanks to the brilliance of his striker Ahmed Bahaj, who scored 7 goals and contested for the tournament's top scorer.

For club management, this success is the result of hard work, league preparations and planning for successful participation, although the team has recently stepped up from second-tier clubs.

One of the best decisions taken by management is the signing of the striker Bhagj, who contributed to the team's success and proved to be a successful transfer from Wehda Aden Club.

Confidence has been one of the factors contributing to a strong performance, which the team coach has been saying is Adel Al tam since the group stage.

From what the coach said, "Our ambition is great to compete, and that matters to us a lot. We are still inside the competition department, and we will continue to reach as far as possible, "according to local newspaper Laa.

The club's fans undoubtedly have a role to play in this achievement, by attending games and strongly encouraging and raising the roof of dreams.

"Fans love their club and they're hungry to win. There is an audience that encourages a club for good, while the masses of Al Tadamun to the contrary, they are loving their club the extent of insanity, and do not accept loss or tie, just interested in achieving victories ", as the team coach describes them.

Club fans are amazing

These fans will play a greater role in providing motivation and support to the team during the first leg because they will be held at home for the first time after all the group stage matches in other cities, some of them far from their city.

Regardless of the outcome in the upcoming games, club management, players and fans feel proud to reach this level, yet they will try to exploit the good situation to achieve greater achievement.

Foundation and March

The club was founded in 1959 in the city of Mukalla, capital of Hadramawt governorate, by workers and citizens of poor class.

According to writer Abdullah Bamhadi, a specialist in the club's history, the club grew up in difficult circumstances compared to the other five clubs that were receiving the sponsorship and support of businessmen.

The competition clubs took advantage of the club's difficult physical situation and provided temptations for the best players to move to it, which is why the club could not compete and achieve achievements at the time, says Bamhadi in an article published in the digital newspaper "Echo Hadramawt".

"Imagine that the player works as a worker or a porter all day till the time of the game and then changes his clothes and wears a team uniform and participates in the game" he added.

The team in past

In that period, the club's some players have joined national team.

In recent years, the team has achieved the 2019 conservative Cup after beating Samoun on penalties, and has also won other domestic tournaments.
