As a sports fan, I remain passionate about exploring the headquarters of football clubs in my country of Yemen and I have not lost this enthusiasm, although many things have passed since I was a child.
I know it's not just about being a football fan, it's also about being curious and loving to learn about things that he loves or interests.
However, I don't think this explanation is enough for me because I keep the same feeling about exploring these places associated with my favorite hobby even after already knowing them.
From the first time I hear about any club, I feel that the thing that takes hold in my mind is its headquarter and the relationship with where I think I will find an answer to some of my questions such as how players perform exercises and how the work goes inside and where the cups and medals are, Not to mention curious motives like when I visit the club I'll see famous stars and I can take pictures with them and talk to them as well.
Of course on many visits I didn't get it but I considered visiting headquarters enough.
It is the same feeling that I have before and after knowing the location of this or that club either in fact or by searching its website.
For example, when I travel to a city, one of the places I like to visit is the club's famous headquarters.
On my first visit to Ibb, the capital of the province of the same name, I was keen to visit my favorite club headquarter, Shaab Ibb, and when I was able to and saw it I actually felt like I had accomplished something great.
And I'm in front of the green-painted gate of the club with a plaque with his name on it, I couldn't believe I was there, it's unspeakable joy even though I didn't get into the club headquarters and recognize it from inside and meet the players.
It's been so many years and I still feel the same desire and I can confidently say that if I visit the club again I will feel the memories of the first time.
It's true that this club I encourage and my word about may seem normal, but that applies to others.
When I was in the capital, Sana 'a, I was keen to visit the club headquarter even if I had no specific purpose, and even if I visited the place near the club, go visit it, spend time and come back happy and I satisfied my desire.
In Sana 'a, curiosity can grow even further because its clubs are strong and famous and have an infrastructure of playgrounds, lounges and continuous sports activities that tempt to visit and enjoy in their various facilities.
From Al Ahli club nicknamed the "Emperor", the most senior team to have achieved leagues and the President's Cup, to Wehda Sana 'a Club known as the "Leader", a great and large club, to other clubs such as Shaab Sana' a, May 22, Al Oruba and Yarmok.
I remember my first visit to the headquarters of the Ahli Club in the Bab Yemen area and how I felt awe entering the main gate and walking around the club.
It was the first club I wrote a story about and then other clubs followed.
On the other side of the city, specifically in Madbah located at the headquarter of the Shaab Club, which has won many tournaments since the 1970s, I was not going to order next to his gate and look at the painting in which his name is, restore memories of his league games as I hear them on the radio in my mountain village.
Every time I visit the headquarters of a club I feel like I am fulfilling an old dream and restore the names of the players, tournaments and details.
It's a constant curiosity that motivates me to explore and makes me feel the beginning even after exploring the place a few times.
When I moved to Taiz and stayed for three years, I visited the headquarters of various clubs such as Al-Saqr, Al-Tali' ah, Al-Rashid and Al-Ahli, all of which had been in first class and I still kept selfies.
In Aden, south of the country, I frequented the headquarters of the Tilal Club, the oldest club founded in Yemen and the Arabian Island.
When I arrived in the city of Sira, I conjured up everything I had heard and read about the club, a long career of achievements and star-making.
The curiosity not only led me to visit the headquarters of the big and famous clubs, but even those in the second or third tier.
Visiting clubs headquarters is a hobby to explore everyone and therefore I have no different between a club I encourage to a certain degree or not, I like to visit all club headquarters whenever possible.
On my visit to the city of Mukalla I asked some citizens about the headquarters of its great Shaab club, and as I went to it I found the headquarters of the Tadamun Club and the result for me was as if I had added a new achievement and achieved a dream.
Some might ask how I feel going to watch games in the stands and do I feel the same, and the answer is yes I feel that and more but the idea of my article discusses my passion to visit club headquarters only.
At the level of searching the Internet on clubs' websites, I do so to obtain photos of press materials, although I admit that the love of exploration is actually stronger than the websites.
Finally, even when Egypt travelled, it was keen to visit the headquarters of Al-Ahli and Al-Zamalik clubs, the two largest clubs there and in Africa, and took selfies there.
