Mareb Al-ward  Shabab Ibb Club has announced preparations to host a testimonial and farewell event for former national team and club star Fakri Al-Hubaishi, in honor of his long and illustrious football career that spanned 18 years and cemented his place among Yemen's top scorers. In a previous interview, Al-Hubaishi confirmed his final decision to retire from football, stating: "Eighteen years with the only beloved I ever knew — I left her not by choice, but because of circumstances." Al-Hubaishi is considered one of the most prolific strikers in the history of Shabab Ibb and Yemeni football. He won the domestic league’s top scorer title twice (2003 and 2006), and in 2006, he earned the prestigious "Top Arab Scorer" title with 26 goals.
