Shaab Ibb Coach: Ready for the league in Sana'a

Adel Al-Mansoob, head coach of the Shaab Ibb Team, announced the readiness of the team for the second phase of the revitalization league of the First Division clubs, which began on December 14 and lasts until January 1


The Shaab begin their first games on Friday with Fahman Abyan at the 22 May Stadium in the capital Sana 'a in Group B games, which were played in the Olympic Stadium in Seyun, the capital of Wadi Hadramawt.

The Shaab are in fifth place by four points, the same balance as the Yarmouk team, but are outscored by goal difference, while the group leads the Wehda team from Sana 'a by 13 points, followed by Fahman by nine points, a copy champion 2021 and Hadramawt by eight points and immediately after the peace of the chamber by seven points.

Before the start of the return phase, in a special statement, he reassured the fans of his team by stressing that "we are in a state of complete readiness in all respects and we have strengthened the team with good players from the club and some local professional players."

The entrant, who led the team before one round of the first leg, confirmed that this willingness was the result of "the cooperation of all", wishing the team audience, especially in the capital Sana 'a, to play "the twelfth player in terms of encouragement and support for the team".


The Shaab Ibb instructor concluded his statement by saying, "I wish and pray to us well by achieving results that satisfy the aspiration of all."

The league competition takes place in two round-trip groups between 12 tea representing the first division teams, with the Falcons and Al-Tali 'ah teams from Taiz  announcing their withdrawal before the start of the tournament, due to disagreement with the Federation leadership over many organizational and administrative matters, and the Federation has acknowledged their relegation to the second tier.

The Shaab won the unified league title (after the re-establishment of unity) three times, the last of which was in 2012 and retained the shield forever, winning the President's Cup twice and the Super Cup the last time in 2013.
