Conclusion of AI presentation and applications in sports journalism

The second day session was enriched with many knowledge about the techniques of using artificial intelligence applications in sports journalism and content industry and ways to generate multiple images and summarize video into written texts. A number of the most widely used applications in the field of artificial intelligence were also reviewed, such as Caht gpt, Copilot and Tengr.ai. The lectures were widely attended by Yemen, Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, reflecting the importance of the Seminar and the interaction of the Society...

The Yemeni Association for sports media launches programmes 2024

The Yemeni Association for Sports Media launched the qualification and training program for the year 2024 by organizing the course of building and institutional development held electronically during the period (29- 31) January, in which the coach and consultant Ali Alwaraqi lectures with the participation of the members of the association's governing body.


At the opening of the session, the President of the Association, Dr. Saleh Hamid, gave a speech in which he noted the importance of drawing on the expertise of qualified training cadres from the members of the Association and adopting training through zoom for all governorates in order to achieve the Association's objectives in qualifying its members and building their capacities.


He commended the efforts of the national trainer Ali Alwaraqi and his optimal manner in delivering the lecture during the first day of the session, which touched on the mechanism for building and developing the capacity of the members of the Association's governing body.


Hamid said that what is included in the training programme are important fundamentals for the sustainability of institutions and a variety of ways to improve them. He pointed out that the Society's vast stock of competencies in various very distinctive academic, administrative and training fields has proved to be superior locally and Arabically.


He called for the idea of training and rehabilitation in all governorates and to be open to all and not limited to the members of the Association because it is an association of all citizens of the nation and seeks to provide its leading role in sports media as an institution that must be inclusive.


In turn, the Executive Director of the Association invited Fellow Basheer Senan to hold a forthcoming session in project formulation and work towards setting and pursuing objectives, ensuring that the Society's financial resources are strengthened through donors and dedicated to serving fellow sports professionals throughout the nation.


For his part, the Secretary-General of the Association, Fellow Khalid Alnwari, explained that this course is the inauguration of the training and rehabilitation programme for the year 2024 and commended the Association's training competencies in various fields.


The training courses would not be interrupted by scarce possibilities, especially since training could be relied upon online to implement training and rehabilitation plans and programmes.

A mobile journalism course will be prepared for fellow trainer Randa Al-Zayadi in February.

National Trainer Ali Alwaraqi reviewed the importance of institutional work under its three conditions of complementarity in the work and collective success is considered a success for individuals, impartiality in the work and three types of operational, tactical and strategic planning.


He gave a detailed explanation of the project pyramid and its four components and the need for each level of it to comply with the requirements of society and the need to establish and develop the association's institutional work by providing a distinctive service with modern technology while developing the performance of its employees to achieve the required creativity.


He also explained the stages of institutional work through creation and presence and constantly adjusting the vision to keep pace with each new with the identification and distribution of tasks to achieve the desired goal.


He addressed the difference between the horizontal organizational structure of civil society organizations and the vertical structure of government entities.


The course will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday to complement the other themes of the course's programme, which constitutes the building block for the future according to modern scientific foundations and institutional methodology.
